The task is to hand draw a logo signifies the essence of these awards. The awards celebrate young people in our communities who are doing extraordinary things in their lives. A stand out theme is kindness. So get your pencils out and see what inspiration comes to you!
What do you have to do?
- Create a logo that you feel could represent the 2021 Kilkenny/Carlow Garda Youth Awards
- All entrants must attend school or live within the Kilkenny/Carlow Garda Division area
- Logos must be hand drawn – Use any drawing or painting medium of your choice
- Artwork submitted must be the sole work of the named entrant
- You must submit your work in accordance to procedures laid out
- Entrants must be between the ages of 13 and 21 yrs of age
- All entrants under the age of 18 must have the written permission of a guardian on this form in order for their entry to be accepted
To submit your work:
- Create your hand drawn logo
- Scan or take a photo your drawing (as clearly as you possibly can)
- Complete this submission form and scan/save
- Email submission form and your logo creation file to [email protected]
- Make sure to keep your original artwork safe!
The winner will receive:
- A hoodie with their own logo creation printed on it.
- €100 worth of art supplies.
- Art lessons with local artist.

Logo artwork submitted may be used to promote the competition online or in print media publications. The winning submission will be presented publicly as part of the Kilkenny/Carlow Garda Youth Awards 2021.
