Netwatch Corporate Values
We encourage our employees and partners to apply the following five corporate values into their everyday consideration.
Our goal is to connect ourselves to the communities in which we live and work in. Netwatch was founded in Carlow in 2003, and since the, has expanded to become a global organisation. While the company’s growth and development are a key focus for us, one of our priorities is always to work within the local community that supported us over the years. Over the past twenty years, we have engaged with, and supported, many clubs, societies, charities and initiatives. Some of our latest community initiatives are outlined below.
Netwatch Cullen Park
Netwatch Cullen Park, is the Carlow GAA stadium. It is the home of the Carlow Gaelic football and hurling teams. With a capacity of 21,000, it provides an excellent facility for the local sporting community. GAA is at the heart of all Irish communities and creates an amazing sense of pride. Netwatch’s sponsorship to the stadium aids in providing an excellent facility within the local community, in turn supporting each Carlow parish and the wider GAA community.
Family Carers Ireland
Family Carers Ireland is the national charity supporting the 500,000+ family carers across the country who care for loved ones such as children or adults with additional needs, physical or intellectual disabilities, frail older people, those with palliative care needs or those living with chronic illnesses, mental health challenges or addiction. Netwatch has sponsored Family Carers Ireland since 2019 in the hope of assisting the charity and it’s members in raising awareness. Each year, this initiative allows us to support families and individuals in the community who embody a culture of care and passion for their loved ones.
The Garda Youth Awards
The Kilkenny/Carlow Garda Youth Awards, in association with Netwatch, Carlow County Council and Kilkenny County Council, at Divisional and National level, celebrates outstanding young people aged between 13 and 21 years, and recognises the good work they are doing throughout their communities. This initiative aids us in reaching our vision of a culture of care, where young people in the community are recognised for their good work and efforts in the local community, allowing young people to understand good efforts are often rewarded.
Carlow Rugby Club
Carlow Rugby Club is a family orientated club, drawing much of its support and playing strength from the local community. Through this sponsorship, Netwatch want to help the Carlow Rugby Club continue to provide a high standard facility for local players and their families.
The Big Idea
The Big Idea is an inclusively designed programme empowering students with creative tools that will expand their capabilities, building confidence and knowledge base connecting them with their communities and bridging the gap with Industry. This initiative reflects the Netwatch vision of a culture of care, innovation and passion for people. It will allow the young people in our communities to understand their creative potential and see the difference they can make in their worlds.
