Corporate Responsibility at Netwatch

Our Philosophy

CSR underpins our strategy to ensure the consideration of the financial, environmental, and social impacts of our organisation when business decisions and actions are being taken.

Our business mission is to ‘To deliver innovative, proactive monitoring technologies and solutions built on trust and a commitment to quality of service’ and our CSR strategy aids us in fulfilling our mission while sustaining our businesses success, fulfilling our duty to the environment, people and the community our business operates in.

Our vision is to ‘create a fearless environment for our customers, partners and employees’. To achieve this, we are committed to delivering innovative, proactive monitoring technologies and solutions built on trust and quality of service.

Environment

As one of the world’s leading proactive video monitoring (PVM) solution providers, we always work towards a more sustainable approach of CCTV monitoring for our sites across the globe.
One such initiative is our Eco-Commander.

It is powered by CO2-produced Methanol, which is a carbon neutral energy source, it is clean running and quiet so can be utilised where noise pollution is a concern, the only output is small amounts of water. We use local suppliers to produce these units and they are built of material the will withstand all conditions, ensuring they are reusable or years to come.

We have our own Netwatch Green Team committee who play a part in shaping our future as a company, continuing our march to creating a greater company-wide culture of collaboration, innovation & trust. The Green Team have worked to underpin and support our Environmental, Social, Governance and Values (ESGV) workstreams, while also participating in developing new policies and embedding them into our company’s culture and daily practices.

Our People

Our people are integral to our success and are at the forefront of our business. We are dedicated to our employee’s consistent development to ensure they flourish in the work environment and as a result, they feel content, secure and committed in their role.

Providing employment to people in our local communities has been a key factor to our success. We aim to support employment in all areas, providing many opportunities. We are engaged in the level 6 FETAC Apprenticeship programme in Electronic Security Systems. In addition, we have a Software Developer internship programme in our Research and Development department with students from Southeast Technological University.

Our VMV Ambassador program comprises of employees working together to introduce activities and initiatives across the group to develop and embed Netwatch Group’s vision, mission and values into our culture and daily practices.

Netwatch Corporate Values

We expect all of our employees and partners to apply the following five corporate values into their everyday consideration.

Customer First

We must always act and empower our teams to focus on our customers first; from dealers to end users. We must always act with a sense of urgency and think of our customers’ needs.

Collaboration

Teamwork is key to our success. How we engage with each other, our customers and our communities provide the opportunity to work smarter and have a positive impact.

Integrity

Integrity starts with how we behave and the decisions we make when nobody is watching.  We must always act with the highest level of integrity in everything we do.

Innovation

We must innovate in both our technology as well as our business. Innovation comes in many ways; from the way we do business to our technology and processes.

Safety

Safety is the primary focus for our day-to-day activity and starts with each of us.  We want all of our employees, dealers, and customers to return safely home to family and friends.

Community

Our goal is to connect ourselves to the communities in which we live and work in. Netwatch was founded in Carlow in 2003 years ago and since then, has expanded to become a global organisation. While the company’s growth and development are a key focus for us, one of our priorities is always to work within the local community that supported us over the years. Over the past twenty years, we have engaged with, and supported, many clubs, societies, charities and initiatives. Some of our latest community initiatives are outlined below.

Netwatch Cullen Park

Netwatch Cullen Park, is a GAA stadium in Carlow. It is the home of the Carlow Gaelic football and hurling teams. With a capacity of 21,000, it provides an excellent facility for the local sporting community. Netwatch’s sponsorship to the stadium aids in providing an excellent facility within the local community to host large games and training sessions.
